Based on Social Thinking (™) methodology, our Summer Social Groups will help children learn to:

Build social observational skills

Strengthen perspective-taking skill
-
Determine one's own and others' thoughts and feelings
-
Strengthen and conceptualize physical presence and self-awareness in a group
-
Follow a group plan
-
Develop problem-solving and language skills
-
Become a social thinker!
Details (Summer 2022)

The Group runs from July 5th to August 11th.
-
Each week consists of 2 two-hour sessions.
-
The groups are on Tuesday and Thursday.
-
Groups will consist of 3-5 children and 2 adults.

The groups will be run at our office 211C 750 Comox Rd, Courtenay, B.C.
-
Cost can be covered by extended health benefits as well as Speech-Language Pathology funding (Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program, etc).

The group is run by a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by RASP.
