Summer Social Groups

Based on Social Thinking (™) methodology, our Summer Social Groups will help children learn to:

  • Build social observational skills

  • Strengthen perspective-taking skill

  • Determine one's own and others' thoughts and feelings

  • Strengthen and conceptualize physical presence and self-awareness in a group

  • Follow a group plan

  • Develop problem-solving and language skills

  • Become a social thinker!

Details (Summer 2022)

  • The Group runs from July 5th to August 11th.

  • Each week consists of 2 two-hour sessions.

  • The groups are on Tuesday and Thursday. 

  • Groups will consist of 3-5 children and 2 adults.

  • The groups will be run at our office 211C 750 Comox Rd, Courtenay, B.C.

  • Cost can be covered by extended health benefits as well as Speech-Language Pathology funding (Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program, etc).

  • The group is run by a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by RASP.​​
