Summer Social Groups

Based on Social Thinking (™) methodology, our Summer Social Groups will help children learn to:

  • build social observational skills

  • strengthen perspective taking skill

  • determine one's own and other's thoughts and feelings

  • strengthen and conceptualize physical presense and self-awareness in a group

  • follow a group plan

  • develop problem solving and language skills

  • become a social thinker!

Details (Summer 2021)

  • The Groups runs from July 06th to August 23rd.

  • Each week consists of a two hour session.

  • The groups are on a Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday 

  • Groups will consist of 3-5 children and 2 adults.

  • The groups will be run at our office 211C 750 Comox Rd, Courtenay, B.C.

  • Cost can be covered by extended health benefits as well as Speech Language Pathology funding (Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program, etc).

  • The group is run by a Registered Speech Language Pathologist, certified by RASP.​​
