Summer Social Groups

Based on Social Thinking (™) methodology, our Summer Social Groups will help children learn to:

build social observational skills

strengthen perspective taking skill
-
determine one's own and other's thoughts and feelings
-
strengthen and conceptualize physical presense and self-awareness in a group
-
follow a group plan
-
develop problem solving and language skills
-
become a social thinker!
Details (Summer 2019)

The Groups runs from July 15th to August 23rd.
-
Each week involves two 2 hour sessions.

The groups are on a Monday/Wednesday and a Tuesday/ Thursday rotation and we are offering groups at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

Groups will consist of 4-5 children and 3 adults.

The groups will be run at our office 106-501 fourth st, Courtenay, B.C.

Cost can be covered by extended health benefits as well as Speech Language Pathology funding (Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program, etc).

The group is run by two Registered Speech Language Pathologists, certified by RASP.
