Weekly Tuesdays July 14 10am-11:30am

A group for children who use AAC or Talkers as their primary communication method to practice their skills in a supported environment with structured activities and instructed play. Each week will focus on a “word of the week” for carryover at home.

Summer Gamers, Social Group (Comox)

Weekly Wednesdays July 8th-August 19th 2:30-4pm

$150 per session

Level up your social skills through purposeful and engaging gaming activities designed to promote meaningful peer interactions. Participants will work together through cooperative games and challenges that encourage communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and friendship-building in a fun and supportive environment. This group focuses on developing social communication, conversation skills, flexible thinking, cooperative interaction, and self-confidence while fostering positive connections with peers who share similar interests.

Summer Preschool Speech/Language Group (Comox)

Weekly Tuesdays and Wednesdays July 7th-August 19th 10am-11:30am

$100 per session

This group focuses on supporting the development of speech, language, and social communication skills in a fun and engaging environment. Children will build foundational communication abilities such as initiating conversations, turn-taking, listening, and understanding the thoughts, feelings, and perspectives of others. Through play-based activities, role play, games, and structured interaction, participants will also target early language development, speech sound production, vocabulary growth, sentence formulation, and social interaction skills to support successful communication with peers and adults.

Weekly Wednesdays July 8th-August 19th 1pm-2:30pm

$150 per session

An engaging social language group for children who benefit from support with conversation skills, friendship building, turn-taking, staying on topic, and group interaction. Through purposeful games and collaborative activities, participants will develop social communication, cooperative interaction, flexible thinking, problem-solving, and confidence while building meaningful connections with their peers in a fun and supportive environment.

Summer Speech, Language and Social Skills Group (Comox)

Weekly July 7th-August 20th Tuesdays at 1pm-2:30pm and Wednesdays at 11:45am-1:15pm

$100 per session

This dynamic group supports the development of speech, language, and social communication skills in a motivating peer environment. Participants will work on speech sound production, understanding and using language, conversational turn-taking, friendship-building, perspective-taking, and group participation through engaging activities tailored to their needs.

Weekly Thursdays July 9th-August 20th 11am-12:30pm

$150 per session

A speech-language therapy group that uses engaging board games and group activities to support the development of social communication and language skills. Participants will practice initiating and maintaining conversations, taking conversational turns, staying on topic, interpreting social cues, building friendships, and communicating effectively with peers. The group also fosters confidence, flexible thinking, and positive social interactions in a fun and supportive setting.
